FOCUS provides you with a complete picture of your interests, values, personality, skills and leisure activities using self-assessment questionnaires, interest and personality testing. After you have assessed your personal attributes, the system searches its career and occupational information database to help you identify and analyze occupations and career paths that match your personal characteristics.
For optimal results, please allow 30 - 60 minutes for the completion of the assessment.
After completing the assessments, it is recommended that you meet with your career advisor if you have any further questions. FOCUS is free to all John Wood Community College district residents.
Follow these steps to use FOCUS. Write down the institutional key code which is "jw5728". Then visit the FOCUS self-registration page. If you have any further questions, please call the Career Center at (217)641-4355.
