Meghan C. Wright is currently a PhD candidate in the field of Organization Development at Benedictine University. Her research interests around female entrepreneurship are a result of her personal journey as a consultant with Wright Consulting and contractor with the Small Business Development Center in west-central Illinois. She has played an integral part of training and development for small businesses by developing technical skills as well as defining, planning and implementing business solutions to assist with achieving strategic goals. This has been done through development of the individual employee as well as development of the systems and processes of the small business. Wright has also applied her organization development knowledge through consulting work specific to change management, talent management and strategic planning in larger corporations. She has also been involved with not-for-profit organizations to creatively manage and integrate effective business strategies to foster sustainability.
