Ray has been employed at John Wood since September 2006 as a first shift building service worker.
He is married to Amber and has 6 children; daughters Latoya and Autumn, and sons Aaron, Andrew, Austin, and Myles. He also has 3 grandchildren; CaYénne, Alisia, and LaRyah.
He is a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ under the leadership of Bishop Eddie Warren and the Cathedral of Worship Church in Quincy, Illinois. He serves as Department Head of the Victorious Living Program - "A Ministry to Drugs, Alcohol, and Addictions." He also serves as staff minister at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Keokuk, Iowa where Jeff Brown is the pastor. He is helping primarily with outreach and evangelism.
His hobbies include family activities, exercise, weightlifting, and basketball.
