International Admissions Process

John Wood Community College welcomes qualifiied students from all countries. John Wood is an excellent school for international students because of our high academic standards and our affordibility.  Application for interntional admission must be accompanied with a $150 application fee that can be sent to the admissions department (no cash, please remit international money order):

To gain international admissions please follow the following steps:

1. Fill out a John Wood International Application for Admission. Once your application is submitted please remit, in money order form, the $150 application fee.

2. International applicants must provide evidence of financial support.  Please fill out the form below and return to admissions.  The form must be accompanied by bank statements in U.S. Dollars.   Affidavit of Financial Support

3. Provide to admissions official transcripts which document completion of schooling through the equivalent of high school, as well as official transcripts of any colleges or universities previously attended. All transcripts must be translated into English.

4. International applicants must provide evidence of English proficiency by submitting their TOEFL (test of English as a foreign language) test results of a 520 or better to admissions. If you have questions about testing, or different testing formats contact the director of admissions at rbuhr@jwcc.edu.
