Selecting and Preparing
Not sure where to go to college? Selecting and Preparing is a fantastic partnership event where you can compare colleges in our area to decide which will best meet your needs. Area colleges will be in the auditorium lobby in the Heath Center prepared to answer questions and concerns regarding your post-high school decision. This event is held in early October.
Parent Orientation
It seems as though your student is excited for the next chapter in their life, time is speeding by but you still have many questions about this exciting transition. Parent Orientation is a welcoming environment to assist you with all hesitations and questions regarding the college process. Admissions steps, financial aid, social experiences and more- this event is sure to settle your college parent butterflies! This event is held in mid July.
Fall Preview Day
Learn first-hand the Trailblazer experience at Fall Preview Day! Come onto campus for a visit, tour, student interaction and head off to cheer our JWCC Athletics onto a victory! This is typically held in late fall.
J-Dub Day
Its more than simply a visit day, its an experience! Jdub Day is our annual “seniors only!” day on campus. Jdub Day is the best glimpse of a day in the life of a JWCC student. Arrive in the morning to enjoy your day interacting with current Jdub student leaders, participate in games, win prizes, explore the campus, and get the first-hand experience as a future Trail Blazer. Held on a Friday in March, this event is sure to exceed your expectations of a college visit day.
