Most General and Program Scholarships are awarded in the spring to be used for the following academic year. Applications will be accepted starting October 1. Notification will be made by early May.
	Nursing/Health Occupations Scholarship applications are due by June 15. A narrative statement (250-500 words) of personal and professional goals directed toward a nursing career must accompany application.
	Agriculture Scholarships are awarded in November and utilize a separate application procedure and directory. Please call the Agriculture Education Center for a full explanation at (217) 236-4711 or (217) 641-4558.
	There are no summer scholarship awards.
	A new application is required for each term you wish to be considered.

This guide reflects the most updated listing of awards that are available. However, the Foundation reserves the right to adjust amounts and scholarships each semester according to donor requests and/or funds available. Scholarships may be used for tuition, fees, and/or books, unless otherwise indicated.

All scholarship decisions are reviewed by the JWCC Foundation Board of Directors. All complete applications will be given equal consideration and will be reviewed to ensure that candidates have achieved minimum eligibility requirements.
