Scholarship Application Instructions

Use the Online Scholarship Application You can download a printable version of the application here. Applications may also be picked up at the JWCC Foundation Office, Student Administrative Center Room 244, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Applications for Spring 2008 will be accepted beginning October 1, 2007. They should be submitted between October 1, 2007 and March 14, 2008. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Academic transcripts must supplement the application. All supplemental materials are due by March 14, 2008, 5 p.m. If it is necessary for your financial information to be considered as criteria for any scholarship, it is your responsibility to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Assistance (FAFSA) and to have your Student Aid Report on file in the JWCC Financial Aid Office. For processing timelines, contact the Financial Aid Office. Scholarship recipients are expected to write a note of thanks to the major donor of their scholarships. Notes should be dropped off at the JWCC Foundation Office. Scholarship recipients must attend the General Scholarship Reception that will be scheduled in October; details will be sent at a later date. A new application is required for each term for which you wish to be considered.
