Who are we? M.S.O. is dedicated to raising awareness
of the various cultures present at JWCC and of other cultures around the
world. This organization is open to all students, staff, and faculty who are
interested in sharing information about their world and learning more about
the world around them. The organization deals with issues that are prevalent
in all cultures, such as the many forms of discrimination or prejudice, and
it explores the differences that separate people, such as religion,
language, and customs. What do we do? MSO participates in several activities and fundraisers throughout the school year; like Multi-Cultural Perspective Presentations, the SGA Back-to-School BBQ, Black History Month, Women's History Month, and much more.
