NOTE: "Monday only" day and evening classes that meet for three hours or more will need to have their exams rescheduled for a different time in order to meet state required seat time. Check with your instructor regarding the new exam time for these classes which meet exclusively on Mondays.
Final examination periods for semester classes have been scheduled during the week of May 13 through May 16, 2013 following the conclusion of classroom work for the semester on Friday, May 10. NOTE: Friday, May 17 has been added as an Emergency Final Exam date.
All instructors are expected to administer some kind of meaningful activity in the scheduled final period for each of their classes - either a comprehensive final, the last unit test, a special exercise of some kind, or something similar. What instructors do during their final exam periods is not as important as observing those times with students in some meaningful way. Exceptions to this practice can be made for unusual situations, but only with prior approval from the vice president for instruction or in cases of emergency.
