JWCC’s Writing Center was established in 2009 to lend support to students who are writing papers in their JWCC classes. Writing a research or analytical paper in a course is an essential way to communicate what has been learned; however, many students need help with this complex task. The Writing Center is designed to assist students at every stage of the writing process.

The center is managed by the Languages, Literature, and Humanities department and is staffed with full and part-time instructors and professors who have years of experience.
