Day and evening truck driver training sessions are both available!
Your training begins in the classroom as you are prepared for your Commercial Driver's License permit and you begin to learn what is required to become a professional truck driver. You will then move outdoors, where you will receive hands-on training in the trucks on our driving range. Finally, you are ready for the open road. Your training is planned in stages, so that as you become proficient in a particular skill, you gradually move to the next, making the learning process easier.

John Wood students are trained using over-the-road tractor-trailer rigs meeting industry standards. By driving on all kinds of roads, from city streets and rural two-lane roads to interstate highways, you will quickly develop your proficiency, and increase your confidence level.
