The cooperating collection was established in 2006 at John Wood Community College
by the Foundation Center of New York City. JWCC hosts the collection and trains
nonprofits to use the resources.
There are 1500 nonprofits in the west central Illinois and northeast Missouri area. CEN, the Center for Effective Nonprofits,
was launched in 2005 to promote excellence within nonprofit organizations. CEN assists,
promotes, represents and strengthens community organizations.
