MyMediaMall is a great way to check out popular eAudiobooks, eBooks and videos from your local library. It is open 24/7. Digital books and videos can be downloaded to a computer.
(NOTE: until further notice, software may only be downloaded on your personal computer)

You may enjoy them anywhere on a wide variety of portable devices such as MP3 players (not iPods!),
Pocket PCs, Smartphones, PDA's or burn to CDs.

Easy checkout and return! All you need is a valid library card from JWCC's Library and a personal computer (software is not compatible with Apple brand products) with an Internet connection. You will be able to check out up to five books at a time for three weeks. When your book is due, the file becomes unreadable. It is "returned" automatically.

You are not able to return them early.

Great selection! The online collection provides hundreds of exceptional titles to choose from, including bestsellers and classics, fiction and non-fiction.

No late fees! You will never have to pay overdue fines since the digital materials are automatically returned at the end of the loan period.

Convenient reminders! If an item is checked out, you can put it on hold. You will be notified by e-mail when it is available.

1. Go to www.mymediamall.net
2. Install free software from the Web site (until further notice, software may only be downloaded on your personal computer)
3. Click on "Sign In" at top of screen
4. Dialog box appears with a drop down list of libraries. Always select "Alliance Library System-CARLI"; type your JWCC barcode number in the second box provided (20163....),
   click "Sign In"
5. Browse the site-select the titles you wish to checkout; a list is automatically prepared for you (later you will have the opportunity to remove titles prior to checking out)
6. Checkout the digital material
7. Download the digital material

More assistance needed? Follow these directions:

• Go to the MyMediaMall site
• OverDrive Media Console software - download & install a free copy (link can be found under digital book help; click on the graphic)
• Follow the directions as the software downloads
• Windows Media Security Update
• Go to Tools >Windows Media Player Security Upgrade.
• Click OK in the Security dialog box. Wait a few moments.
• Click the Play button in the License Acquisition dialog box. The License dialog box will close indicating that the security update is complete.
• Windows Media Player. You must have version 11. If you do not, download and install it now.
• While connected to the Internet, open OverDrive Media Console.
