We subscribe to print issues of the Quincy Herald Whig, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and the Chronicle of Higher Education. We archive each for 3 months. If you are on campus and need assistance, please ask one of the Library Staff to help you. If you are off campus, you may telephone the Library during normal operational hours at 217-641-4537.

NewsBank: America's Newspapers	Search or browse this massive database of local, regional, and national US newspapers like the Chicago Tribune, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, New York Times, and Washington Post.(JWCC Affiliates Only)
LexisNexis Academic	Provides access over 6,000 news, business, and legal sources. News coverage includes deep backfiles and recent stories from national and regional newspapers, wire services, broadcast transcripts, and international news.
Newspaper Source	Provides cover-to-cover full text for 35 national & international newspapers. The database also contains selective full text for 375 regional U.S. newspapers. (JWCC Affiliates Only)
Quincy Herald Whig	The Quincy Herald Whig is published everyday, and a print copy is delivered to the library in the afternoon.
USA Today	USA Today is delivered to the John Wood Community College Library every weekday.
Wall Street Journal	ProQuest's Wall Street Journal database includes full text coverage dating back to January 2, 1984 that can be searched or browsed. (On campus only)
Regional Business News	Offers full text coverage for 75 business journals, newspapers, and newswires from all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States. This database is updated on a daily basis. (JWCC Affiliates Only)
Illinois Newspaper Project	This project is a part of the U.S. Newspaper program, and its purpose is to identify, catalog, and preserve on microfilm the nation's historic newspaper heritage.
NewspaperARCHIVE.com	As one of the largest historical newspaper database online, this database includes over a billion newspaper pages from 1959 to the present.
Mondo Worldwide Newspaper Directory	Mondo Newspapers covers over 11,000 newspapers in 200 countries. You can also find lists of the most popular newspapers in the world and in the United States.
Newseum: Today's Front Pages	Daily newspaper front pages are offered in their original, unedited form.
