Beef Specialist
Certificate

32 Semester Hours

The Beef Specialist Certificate is designed to provide students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to be successful in the beef industry. Emphasis is placed on technical knowledge and practical hands on training by working with the beef cattle at the University of Illinois Animal Science Research Center, adjacent to the JWCC Agricultural Education Center.

NOTE: Only students who do not need additional coursework and who take the number of credits or courses as listed each semester can complete the program in the time given. Others will take longer to complete.
