Compressor Technology
Certificate
20 Semester Hours
Today every industry within our growing economy uses compressed air in one form or another. Air compressors are used in almost every facet of industry, transportation, recreation, and construction. The largest employment growth has been in the area of repair/service technicians. The compressor technology program provides the knowledge and skills necessary to install, upgrade, and repair most types of compressors.
This program is offered in conjunction with Gardner Denver Corporation and consists of two sessions and an internship, which will be arranged for students. Students may earn a 20-hour certificate or work toward an AAS degree in Compressor Technology.
NOTE: Only students who do not need additional coursework and who take the number of credits or courses as listed each semester can complete the program in the time given. Others will take longer to complete.
