Compressor Technology

Today every industry within our growing economy uses compressed air in one form or another. Air compressors are used in almost every facet of industry, transportation, recreation, and construction. The largest employment growth has been in the area of repair/service technicians. The compressor technology program provides the knowledge and skills necessary to install, upgrade, and repair most types of compressors.

This program is offered in conjunction with Gardner Denver Corporation and consists of two sessions and an internship, which will be arranged for students.

Students may earn a 20-hour certificate or work toward an AAS degree in Compressor Technology.

For more information, contact Michael O’Connor at Gardner Denver Corporation, 217/222-5400, ext. 363 or the JWCC Director of Business and Industry Programs.
