Due to its nationally recognized reputation for quality, students in John Wood Community College's Truck Driver Training program are actively recruited by a wide variety of carriers representing virtually every segment of the trucking industry.
It is not at all uncommon for a student in the program to have several job offers in hand prior to graduation.
A John Wood graduate entering the trucking business can expect to earn $25,000 to $30,000 in their first year, with earnings climbing above $40,000 after a couple of years' experience.
