Davis Defense Group Partnership
Davis Defense Group (DDG) is a woman-owned, small business in Fredericksburg, Virginia, located about 50 miles south of Washington D.C. They are experts in the U.S. Defense industry, specializing in Federal Acquisition, Military Logistics, Hazard Vulnerability Analysis and Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) training and First Responder training.
DDG provides highly-rated certified first response trainers known for their attention to students’ needs. These trainers, who serve as associate faculty members at John Wood, set the industry standard for their programs for Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) awareness, National Incident Management Systems (NIMS), Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) preparedness and response, as well as training, maintenance and warehousing for military and first response equipment. DDG has provided expert training for individual states’ first responders, as well as for the U.S. Army, Navy and Marine Corps, nationwide and even in Iraq .
DDG and John Wood Community College recognize how important it is for our military personnel to earn credit for training that will help each member advance in his or her career.
To that end, we have formed a partnership that will provide college credit for high quality, certified, first-responder training delivered world-wide by highly trained DDG personnel who are also certified JWCC associate faculty members.
The courses currently offered for credit through this partnership, and their course descriptions are currently being updated and will be available in the future. Please check back soon.
