Degree Track is open to all students, but is designed with adult students in mind. Typically, students will attend two or three evenings a week, depending on their level of motivation and schedule. At the conclusion of the program, students will have earned an Associate in Arts or an Associate in Science degree that can be transferred to four-year colleges and universities across the nation.

Our commitment to you:

  • We will offer every class needed to complete this degree on a three-year cycle.
  • Scheduled classes will always run. We will not cancel any class due to low enrollment.
  • We offer a money-back Credit Transfer Guarantee, meaning that your credit hours will transfer or tuition will be refunded.
    (A signed contract is required.)

nThe Right Degree of Flexibility
As a student in the Degree Track program, you can complete every course needed for your degree by taking only classroom-based offerings; however, many students will choose to incorporate other, more flexible class styles into their program. Students can choose from Internet-based courses, open learning courses, hybrid courses, or interactive television courses. Again, you can complete the entire degree with only traditional classes, but be sure to ask your counselor about other class options if you have an interest; you may be able to finish your degree even sooner. We also encourage every student to consider at least one Internet-based course.

A traditional classroom environment

nThe Right Degree of Quality
Many other colleges offer accelerated adult student degree programs with classes that meet for less time than those in a standard degree program. With Degree Track you get what you pay for—the time in class required for Degree Track is the same as that required for all transfer degrees.

The faculty for our program all hold master’s degrees or higher and have many years of teaching and real-world work experience. Our instructors also have extensive knowledge about the problems facing adult students, and they understand the special challenge attending college brings to you and your family.

nThe Right Degree of Affordability
No college in the Quincy area can offer you an education at a more affordable cost! In-district students pay just $81 per credit hour; this means the tuition for an average three-credit-hour class is $243. The same course at a private, four-year college would be $800 to $1200. John Wood is a fully accredited college, and financial aid is available for those who qualify.

nThe Right Degree for YOU!
Isn’t it time you get the recognition and advancement opportunities you deserve? Degree Track is a quality program in a flexible format that fits most budgets. Visit with someone in Admissions right away to learn more about financial aid and the many class options that are available.
