Driving Directions
John Wood Community College is located approximately 1 1/2 hours from Springfield, IL, and 2 hours from St. Louis, MO. Find out more about Quincy at the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce.
From Chicago
- I-55 S to Springfield
- In Springfield, connect with I-72 W (Jacksonville)
- I-72 W to I-172 N (Quincy)
- I-172 N to exit 10, Il-96 (there will be a sign for JWCC)
- Turn left onto IL-96 N
- Turn right onto 48th Street (there will be a sign for JWCC)
- John Wood is 1 1/2 miles further, on the right
From St. Louis
- I-70 W to US-61 N (Hannibal/Wentzville)
- US-61 N to Hannibal
- In Hannibal, take I-72 E/US-36 E (Illinois)
- Cross the bridge into IL
- From I-72 take I-172 N (Quincy)
- I-172 N to exit 10, Il-96 (there will be a sign for JWCC)
- Turn left onto IL-96N
- Turn right onto 48th Street (there will be a sign for JWCC)
- John Wood is 1 1/2 mile further, on the right
From the Quad Cities
- Take US-67 S to Macomb
- From US-67 S in Macomb, take US-136 W
- Take US-136 W to Carthage
- From US-136 W in Carthage, take IL-94 S
- IL 94 S becomes IL-336 S
- IL-336 S becomes I-72 S
- I-172 S to exit 10, IL-96 (there will be a sign for JWCC)
- Turn right onto IL-96 N
- Turn right onto 48th Street (there will be a sign for JWCC)
- John Wood is 1 1/2 miles further, on the right
