John Wood Community College is home to six intercollegiate athletic programs, three men''s and three women''s teams that compete in Region 24 of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Mid-West Athletic Conference (MWAC). Since the inaugural season in the fall of 1992, this department has produced several All-Americans, trips to national tournaments, and numerous scholarships for our student-athletes to four-year colleges/universities. Our programs take pride in our commitment to academics while producing quality people that succeed in all areas of life.
