The mission of the John Wood Baseball Program is to establish and provide a quality athletic and academic experience for all of the student-athletes involved; to provide the finest instruction on the field and to nurture all of our players towards being the best that they can be, on the field and in the classroom; to promote an environment that encourages integrity, personal development and personal excellence; to ultimately prepare those involved to be successful at the four-year school of their choice.
The John Wood Baseball Program is built on two foundational principles. These principles are: "There is a price for success" and "Be satisfied with nothing but excellence." It is our desire to recruit student-athletes who believe in these principles and are willing to apply them on the field and in the classroom. It takes an immense commitment of time and energy to be a member of our program; we believe that this commitment is a valuable investment that pays lifelong dividends.
