Welcome to Trail Blazer basketball! A basketball program rich in tradition and success. As the Head Basketball Coach, I am proud to introduce you to our players, our basketball program and our institution. When I began this basketball program 15 years ago, no one understood the heights that would be reached in such a short period of time. In our third year, the John Wood Community College basketball team earned a berth at the National Junior College Tournament and placed seventh overall and ended the season with a 25-11 record. The following year, the Trail Blazers repeated as Region XXIV Champions, earned another berth in the NJCAA National Tournament finishing 5th in the nation and ended the season with a 32-4 record.

We continue to breed success by recruiting some of the best student-athletes in our area as well as the country. Our coaching staff strives to develop young men as good citizens, successful students and great basketball players. As a basketball team we focus on three team goals everyday---1. Playing Hard 2. Playing Smart and 3. Playing Together.
