Hadley Foster, Head Volleyball CoachHadley Foster joins the coaching staff at John Wood Community College as the head women's volleyball coach. Coach Foster is currently the head men's volleyball at Quincy University and will continue in that capacity.
Coach Foster has more than 13 years experience in coaching volleyball, including nine years at NCAA Division II colleges. Prior to coming to Quincy, Foster was head women's volleyball coach at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas for two years. Under his guidance, Tarleton won a berth to the Lonestar Conference tournament for the first time in school history and five players received conference academic honors. He also served as assistant men's volleyball coach at The University of Findlay (Ohio) for three years and was assistant coach for both men's and women's teams at QU for a year.
Foster holds a Master of arts in athletic administration and a Bachelor of arts in physical education form Idaho State University.
Robert Coughlin, Assistant CoachCoach Coughlin enters his first season as assistant coach at John Wood. He plays the outside hitter position on the Quincy University Men’s Volleyball Team. Coach Coughlin is originally from Chicago Ridge, IL. He graduated from Brother Rice High School in 2004 and was named Player of the Year in the State of Illinois his senior year. He is currently a senior at QU. Coach Coughlin finished the 2008 season being the second on his team in kills with 377, averaging 2.71 per game. He also added to the team high 35 service aces and finished with 177 digs and 54 total blocks. Coach Coughlin is the son of Rob and Marge Coughlin and is majoring in Criminal Justice.
