Attention: AS and AA students
Over half of John Wood students plan to transfer to four year colleges and universities to complete a bachelor’s degree. You may be among these students who are completing an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree. The AAS (Associate of Applied Science) degree generally does not transfer toward the completion of a bachelor’s degree. If you have questions about the type of degree you are receiving, ask your advisor!
What can I do to make sure my credits will transfer?
The process by which JWCC courses are accepted at a four year college or university is called articulation. Many schools provide a specific list for you to review. View some of these articulation agreements at the web sites provided below.
