ACT
Students may enter the Program in two ways: (1) advisors go into classrooms and explain the program to students, (2) referrals are received from school counselors, teachers, principals, current participants, parents, relatives, and community agency personnel.
Eligibility requirements have been set by the U.S. Department of Education. All participants must :
Two-thirds of the participants must meet income guidelines and be potential first-generation college students (neither parent has graduated from a 4-year college). New participants are recruited in the eight targeted school districts served by ETS.
Participants are selected without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religion, disability, or other factors prohibited by law.
