We will be attending Camp
White Eagle near Chicago, IL for our annual wilderness teambuilding trip
to kick-off the summer program. All costs for this trip are
covered by the Upward Bound Program and is attendance is required by all
UB participants.
4-Wk Dorm Stay (Sun. -Thur. evenings; June
8-July 4, 2008):
The students will get to expierence what it is like to
stay in a college dorm, have a roommate, and go to academic classes by
participating in the residential part of the summer program.
Various college visits and fun activities take place during this part of
the program. All costs are covered by the Upward Bound program and
attendance is required by all UB participants.
College Tour Trip (July 7-11, 2008):
This year, we will be heading to New York City, New York. The college tour trip is for those students who have shown academic success, participation in required and non-required activities, and who have a desire to see what another culture has to offer. All costs are covered by the Upward Bound Program.
