Full Time Staff Insurance

LIFE INSURANCE

The college furnishes each employee with coverage of $65,000 by Standard. The policy is effective the first day of the month following the first day of employment. There is no charge to the staff member for premiums. 

SHORT-TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE

This disability monthly benefit is a percentage of your salary if you become temporarily disabled, due to illness or injury. This benefit starts on first day of an accident and on eighth day of an illness. This policy is effective the first day of the month following the first day of employment. There is no charge to the staff member for the premiums. 

LONG-TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE

The disability monthly benefit is a percentage of your salary. This begins after short-term disability. Disability benefit begins on the 91st day of disability. This policy is effective the first day of the month following the first day of employment. There is no charge to the staff member for premiums.
