The agriculture transfer program provides an opportunity for students to earn an associate in science (AS) degree in two years.  The AS degree’s articulated curriculum integrates completely and transfers seamlessly to a four-year college or university agriculture program.  All students are encouraged to consult directly with both a JWCC agriculture transfer advisor and a destination university advisory soon after enrolling.  Early planning helps guarantee a smooth transfer to their university of choice.

Students’ third and fourth years at a college or university may include advanced coursework in areas such as agronomy, animal science, ag business management, or even specialty fields such as food industry management, natural resources, conservation, research or pre-veterinary medicine.  Graduates will discover numerous employment opportunities with a degree in agriculture!
