The Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) certificate is designed for the entry level CNC operator. The focus of the certificate is to instruct the operator in the use of CAD software used in the industry to create models and translate those models into a finished product. The certificate also allows for the use of specialized training areas in the form of electives and may be applied to the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) AAS Degree or Manufacturing Technology AAS Degree.
