About The Instructor

Leah Erke of Quincy is the Restaurant Management Instructor at JWCC.  Ms. Erke has more than 20 years of food management experience, including eight years as the Director of Food and Nutrition at Hannibal Regional Hospital, serving over 500 meals per day. She also spent three years as the kitchen supervisor at St. Louis Regional Medical Center and was with the Lodge of the Four Seasons at the Lake of the Ozarks for two years.

Ms. Erke holds a bachelor degree in restaurant management from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and an associates degree in dietetics from St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley.
