Precision Machining Operator
The Precision Machining (CNC) Operator certificate offers an opportunity to get the credential of a Precision Machining Operator as well as a Certified Production Technician certificate. CNC operators are entry-level jobs in the field of precision machining or people who interact with computer-numerical-controlled machines that are used in manufacturing. During the program, students will be eligible to take the national recognized Manufacturing Skill Standards Council Certified Production Technician (MSSC-CPT) exams and work on National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) projects.
