AAS Technical Degree
Graduates of the radiologic technology program are prepared to perform a variety of functions in radiology departments of hospitals, clinics and other health care facilities. Students receive experience in the operation of diagnostic x-ray equipment in general health, emergency and surgical settings.
To be successful, the radiologic technologist must possess critical thinking skills and be able to exercise independent judgment in dealing with problems in the clinical setting. A technologist must be able to communicate technical or general information to all other medical personnel and to patients and their families.
