Tuition and Fees

  • Payment of tuition and related fees is due before the start of classes.
  • Failure to make complete payment or establish a Payment Plan by the published due date can result in a late payment fee being assessed or cancellation of credit class enrollment.
  • Payment for classes added after the tuition deadline is due at the time of enrollment.
  • If financial aid is not processed by the tuition deadline, you are responsible to pay your tuition in full or enroll in the Nelnet Payment Plan.
  • After classes begin, if you decide you will not be attending class, it is your responsibility to drop the course(s) in the Enrollment Services office. Otherwise, you may owe for the class whether you attend or not.
  • Parents/guardians of students under the age of 18 at time of registration will be held liable for any unpaid balances.
  • For your protection, please present your JWCC photo ID card when making account inquiries at the Business Office.
  • Health, safety, or other circumstances may warrant schedule or class modality changes. John Wood Community College reserves the right to provide alternative course arrangements including, but not limited, to online classes and to revise class schedules to maintain safety of our students and campuses.  Students may experience fee changes due to schedule modification which is the responsibility of the student to pay.
