What happens if my child's class is cancelled?
Classes that do not meet a minimum enrollment will be cancelled by Wednesday prior to class session start.  Your child will automatically be put into his/her second or third choices depending upon availability.  If there is no other option or class available, a refund will be given for the cancelled class.
What if my child needs to drop?
Requests for full refunds must be made by the Wednesday prior to class session start.  Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance.
Is financial assistance available?
A limited number of scholarships are available based on financial need.  Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for 1 class per child for those who qualify.  Those applying for a scholarship must complete a scholarship application, provide their most recent income tax return and bring a completed registration form to the Community Based Outreach Office for verification. Call (217) 641-4941 for more information.
What are the drop-off/pick-up procedures?
Children should be dropped off and picked up in front of the Paul Heath Community Education & Fine Arts Center ONLY.  Look for the two JDUB Academy banners that indicate the pickup lane.  Children may not be dropped off earlier than 10 minutes before their first class and must be picked up no later than 10 minutes after their last class. Those who prefer not to wait in the pick-up lane must park and walk to the sidewalk to escort children to the car.  Children are not allowed to leave the sidewalk without an adult!
