Welder wears heavy gear as they craft their material

Have a welding machine collecting dust in your garage, or are you considering purchasing one? Learn about the types of welders and how to use them safely! Topics include Innershield, flux core arc, short arc welding, how to set voltage and wire speeds, and how to hold angles on a welder. You will also learn how to choose the proper gas to weld various steels.
This class will be held at the Workforce Development Center, 4220 Koch’s Lane, Quincy.
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – Please bring welding gloves and dress appropriately (long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and leather shoes or boots).
