What is my OneDrive?
OneDrive for Business is JWCC's new collaboration tool for storing and sharing work files. These files can be accessed across anywhere, anytime. In addition, your OneDrive is an excellent area to store any important files. You get 1TB of storage space.
It is important to make sure you log off when you leave a computer in any area, so that others can not access your account.
A quick start guide to OneDrive can be found here.
Accessing your OneDrive
If you are on campus, you can access your OneDrive via a Brand New network drive called "OneDrive - John Wood Community College", which is located in My Computer. One Drive is a storage drive from Microsoft that you can access from any computer on the JWCC campus. You can save information to this drive on one computer, and access it on another computer. It’s safe, secure, and backed up.
You can always use OneDrive by opening a web browser and going to http://onedrive.jwcc.edu
You will also have access to OneDrive from the BlazerNet LaunchPad. First, access BlazerNet and click on the OneDrive icon. It will automatically log you into One Drive where you can access your files. You can also access your OneDrive on your mobile device by downloading the OneDrive App from the Apple App Store.
JWCC Student accounts (Email, Office 365, File storage, etc.) will remain active as long as a student is enrolled at the college. However, due to storage and licensing costs, JWCC accounts will be removed shortly after the student is no longer enrolled.
