This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position that reports to the Director of Fiscal Services and is located on the JWCC campus in Quincy, Illinois. Position begins in January 2021.
This position will be responsible for monitoring the expenses and revenue in the general ledger and reconciling the college’s bank accounts. This manager supervises office employees performing payroll and accounts payable functions. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing month end financial processes, and reports for the annual audit. This position also works with the Grant Coordinator and Grant Managers to provide budget numbers and completes the grant quarterly financial reports.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting is recommended with three to five years of professional accounting experience preferred. This position requires strong math and analytical skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills and Microsoft Excel proficiency. It will also require the ability to adhere to strong confidentiality and integrity standards.
