SUMMARY
Systems Support Technician is responsible for installation and maintenance of the company’s computer, telecommunications equipment, and wiring.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, upgrade, and configure personal computer workstation hardware, network server hardware, printers, and modems.
- Coordinate installation, maintenance, configuration and upgrades for telecommunications systems and equipment for stores and Support Center
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of voice and data network wiring related equipment including hubs, switches, routers, CSU’s, and firewalls
- Coordinate installation, configuration and maintenance of Kronos time clocks.
- Install and configure user workstation operating system software, operating system upgrades and patches as needed.
- Work with many company’s WAN and ISP vendors to monitor and maintain the reliability and availability of the company’s wide-area-network and Internet access.
- Assist the Retail Systems Analyst in installing, maintaining and upgrading store POS system hardware, software and wiring.
- Coordinate and schedule work performed by third-party vendors involving voice and data wiring, telecommunications systems installation, configuration and training.
- Purchase equipment and supplies, as needed for projects and ongoing maintenance needs.
- Other tasks and duties as may be assigned from time to time.
