Job Description

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Information Technology and is located at the main campus in Quincy, Illinois.  Position begins immediately.

This position is responsible for the administration of the in-house servers which includes planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing all hardware, software, and communication links. Duties include ensuring the availability of client/server applications; configuring all new implementation; developing process and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment; overseeing the physical security, integrity, and safety of the data center/server farm; managing Office 365; performing inspections of equipment, hardware, software, and systems; and documenting findings to improve technology.



Bachelor’s Degree and Information Technology certifications preferred. 3-5 years of experience in server administration and/or in higher education is recommended. A+, N+, MCSA, Cisco, or comparable certifications are a plus.
