Quincy Recycle is in the business of solving waste stream problems for manufacturers. We handle paper, plastic, and metal recyclables and help our clients build sustainable waste reduction processes within their businesses. We are also a major supplier and buyer of Gaylord boxes. Daily/Weekly Activities:  This individual will have extensive knowledge of network maintenance, the ability to create expedient solutions for users in the field, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge.

Full-Time, Monday- Friday 7a-4p

  • Manage and maintain all IT-related systems at all 15 locations
  • Provide highly responsive and superior user support to 150+ internal users
  • Share ownership of all IT-related responsibilities and tasks with IT Department Personnel
  • Oversee Network Infrastructure
  • Supervise virtual servers
  • Operate backup software
  • Manage phone system
  • Manage and install surveillance systems
  • Coordinate/track all licensing and software
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required

 Position Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration,
  • Excellent knowledge of maintaining databases, data storage systems, and phone systems
  • Knowledge of Android & iPhone platforms
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
  • A firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
  • Occasional overnight travel required
