This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Manager of Student Accounts and is located on the JWCC main campus in Quincy, Illinois.
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including cashiering, assisting and supporting all areas of the fiscal services office. Major responsibilities include cash handling, posting monetary transactions, reconciliations, preparing invoices, maintaining accurate records, assisting with collection of receivables, and serving as notary public. Confidentiality must be observed at all times.
An associate degree is preferred; must have significant experience in cash handling and customer service. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, data entry and use of 10 key calculator; excellent oral and written communication skills; the ability to work calmly and stay on task in a fast paced work environment with frequent interruptions. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and meet daily deadlines. Selected candidates will be subject to a criminal background check and random drug testing.
