This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure track, bargaining unit position that reports to the Dean of Career and Technical Education, and is located on the JWCC campus in Quincy, Illinois. Position begins August 2021.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for teaching 15 credit hours per semester which may include classes during day or evening. Classes may be in-person, online, or Open Learning Center at multiple JWCC centers. Classes may include any of the topics listed below or other topics as needed.
Duties will include course development and updates. Requires a willingness to be involved in activities including committee membership, curriculum review, and participation in systematic planning for program evaluation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Computer Science Technology or related field is required. Requires 2,000 hours of computer science work experience. Teaching experience is preferred.
