This is a part-time, Non-Credit Instructor position in the Adult Education program at John Wood Community College. The ESL (English as a Second Language) class will be taught one evening a week in Pittsfield, IL.
Provide instruction to non-native English speakers seeking to improve their ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language. Duties include developing class materials and lessons, maintaining attendance and student testing records, and evaluating student progress.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field. Certification or experience in ESL teaching and curriculum development preferred.
