Responsibilities

  • Execute transactions (including material receipts and transfers) and perform allocation of materials in XL’s ERP system
  • Verify that quantities received align with quantities ordered
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies at the time of receipt; work directly with Purchasing to address as necessary
  • Work with local suppliers to inquire about over/under shipments, PO # mismatches, etc.
  • Work directly with Accounts Payable to address invoice discrepancies and adjustments
  • Work directly with Quality to address RA, MRB and supplier RMA issues and risks
  • Release, print, distribute and transact work orders for site
  • Maintain communications and reports on order status to various stakeholders
  • Greet and direct truckers delivering and picking up orders
  • Set up outgoing and return shipment paperwork using various computer interfaces, one-on-one communication via phone, email and in-person
  • Perform physical counts and inspections for inbound/outbound and stored inventory
  • Assist in counting, picking, and packing of materials
  • Participate in and lead area 6S initiatives and daily cleaning and safety walk throughs in assigned areas
  • Participate in improvement activities related to your area of work and site activities
  • Any other duties assigned as necessary

Requirements

  • Safe work record and stable work history
  • Ability to read/comprehend orders, BOMs, shipping docs, safety material, etc.
  • Monday through Friday schedule and flexible to work weekends and/or evening shift on occasion to support urgent customer needs
  • Experience using warehouse computer systems (ERP systems)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
