Job Description

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Dean of Records, Registrar, & Financial Aid and is located on the JWCC campus in Quincy, Illinois.  Position will begin immediately.


This position is responsible for serving as the initial contact for students, parents, and the public concerning information about financial aid for the college. Responsibilities include assist students and parents through the entire financial aid process; provide information on available programs, procedures, and eligibility requirements; review financial aid applications and related documentation to ensure compliance and determine eligibility; maintain the financial aid activity database; prepare routine statistical reports; and other clerical duties as needed.



A high school diploma or equivalent is recommended. No experience required. Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to function in a timely, accurate, dependable manner is required. Confidentiality and the ability to make judgements with provided guidelines is expected.
