Job Description

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of the Learning Resources Center and is located at the main campus in Quincy, Illinois. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position provides skilled technical and administrative support for the Learning Resources Center and to the Director of the Learning Resources Center.  Technical Services functions include ordering materials, copy cataloging, catalog maintenance and reporting utilizing the Alma Library Services Platform.   Administrative support functions include creating and maintaining staff schedules, maintaining financial records and reporting, assistance with annual budget preparation, statistical reporting of library resources, scheduling library facilities, and routine clerical functions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree with one to two years of related Academic library experience preferred. Also requires knowledge of current cataloging standards and practices, overall technical services operations, office management principles, strong skills with Microsoft Office, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.  Library Technical Assistant (LTA) preferred.
