Safety Coordinator

Job Description

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Must be available for on call weekend and night rotation schedules.

Rate of Pay: Negotiable depending on background and qualifications.

Essential Functions
*Oversee fleet compliance with hours of service regulations and violations.
*Train and retrain drivers on Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance.
*Administer the fleets random controlled substance and alcohol testing program.
*Maintain databases on the fleets performance in the areas of DOT inspections, tickets, warnings, motorist complaints and ECM performance.

Minimum Required Qualifications
*High School Diploma or GED is required.
*Knowledge of government regulations is helpful.
*Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
*Must be proficient with MS Office (Word and Excel.
*Must be detailed oriented with excellent organization skills.
