Personal Interest Classes and Non-Profit Workshops Offered at JWCC Starting October 25

PERSONAL INTEREST CLASS AND NON-PORFIT WORKSHOPS OFFERED AT JWCC STARTING OCTOBER 25
 
John Wood Community College will offer a variety of personal interest classes beginning October 25. Call 217.641.4905 to register.

Landscape-Barn Watercolor Paint will meet Tuesdays, October 25 to November 29, 6 to 8 p.m. Participants will paint a barn landscape on water color paper with the landscape already drawn on it and ready for painting. Cost is $96.00.

How to Install Ceramic Tile will meet Tuesday, October 25, from 6:30 to 8: 30 p.m. This hands-on class will walk participants through the installation process for ceramic tiling. Discussion about repairing damaged tills will also be presented. Cost is $21.00.                    

Using Your Digital Camera Features will meet Saturday, October 29, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will learn how to locate the basic features on personal digital cameras. Cost is $60. 

Center for Effective Non-Profits workshops:

First Step in Fundraising: Learn to Use the Tools at West Central Illinois Philanthropy on Tuesday, October 25, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.  Non-profits can learn to take advantage of the West Central Illinois Philanthropy Center. The Center is only one of seven in Illinois and it is available free to non-profits. This workshop is free.

Understanding the 990 Form for non-profits with operating budgets over $200,000 will meet Thursday, October 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. Cost is $50 or $45 for Center for Effective Non-Profit (CEN) members.
